The American Diabetes Association has prepared and collected the following information and resources to assist people with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

COSA is now Accepting Emergency Rental, Mortgage, and Utility Assistance

1st and easiest way to apply: Visit https://www.sanantonio.gov/NHSD/Programs/FairHousing then click the “Request Assistance” button on that page. 

2nd way to apply for rental, mortgage/utilities:  Visit https://www.sanantonio.gov/NHSD then once there, select the banner shown below for the assessment - Complete the assessment and press submit.

The Centers for Disease Control has provided information and guidance for employers to prepare for and respond to a possible outbreak of the Coronavirus. This information includes actions employers can implement now and advice for developing a response plan.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has gathered general workplace health and safety information to share with employees.

COVID-19 Hotline

San Antonio Metropolitan Health District has opened a COVID-19 hotline for residents to ask questions about the virus. The hotline is available in English and Spanish. Residents can call 210-207-5779. (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) announced its first round of published guidance to provide information to employees and employers about how each will be able to take advantage of the protections and relief offered by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
