Dear Chamber Members and Partners:
During the last two month, as San Antonio has prepared for and faced the coronavirus crisis, local non-profit organizations have worked around the clock to help provide essential services for members of our community. However, these same organizations who are providing for our critical needs are also feeling the stress and anxiety that is so prevalent in our world right now.
Organizations like Haven for Hope, the San Antonio Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and countless others need our support to continue their mission. You can also assist local non-profits and families by donating to the COVID-19 Community Response Fund or the Big Give Emergency Relief.
In addition, the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center has an increased need for blood as hospitals begin to schedule more surgeries and is asking community members to make and keep appointments to donate blood.
Please consider helping your favorite non-profit organizations, whether it is with your time, a monetary gift, a donation of sanitizing or other supplies, or support and encouragement. San Antonians are strong, resilient, and supportive, and we know that we will come through this stronger than ever by working together to help.
